This page will feature information about “Christmas Kids” which is a program ran by Jennifer (me) & my mom, Debbie.   The items below will all be auctioned to benefit Christmas Kids 2009!  Stay tuned as more details will follow!

The auctions will consist of two rounds of items in an effort to divide of some of the items by the same artist.  The first round of auctions will begin on Saturday November 28, 2009 & run until Saturday December 5, 2009.  The second round of auctions will them begin that Sunday & run through Sunday December 13, 2009.  Times will vary & at this point I’m not certain which items will be in which auction.  The auctions will be held on ebay under our username – CntryMusicCares.  Thanks again & get your bids ready! 

What is Christmas Kids?
This is something our family started over 10 years ago to help out some of the needy children in the Paducah, KY area. Maybe I should say that God started this ministry. Last year we were able to provide presents for over 100 & raised $15,000. We were able to serve those at three local elementary schools (including where I teach). These students are hand picked by the faculty at the appointed schools. One requirement is they are not supposed to receive help from any other service. Each child receives a coat, a few outfits of clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, a toy, etc.  Many of these children will receive little or nothing for Christmas without this help.

The autographs below will be auctioned on eBay. We tried to work to have Christmas Kids be a charity recognized by Mission Fish on eBay’s giving works, but that hasn’t worked out yet. My mom’s company, James Marine, donated a sizeable amount last year & has allowed us to turn our project into a subsection of their charitable organization. I can guarantee you that every penny of the auction will go to the children. I am donating the item & the auction (fees). The only amount you spend that will not go to the kids is shipping costs. We have not been able to raise near the amount that we have in the past so I’m having faith that these auctions will bring in enough money to fill the gaps! . These artists have graciously taken the time to sign these items as I’ve met them & I hope that all the amazing country music fans out there will take interest & bid, bid, bid! Below are some wonderful Christmas gifts, or keep them for your self!  If you purchase these items it will allow us to purchase Christmas gifts for children who may receive little if we aren’t able to help them! I can’t wait to see how this year’s auction will go & I pray that God does even more than we can imagine! God bless everyone who even considers giving to others in this tough economic time!
