Gwen Sebastian Opened CountryMusicIsLove’s Benefit Show

If you haven’t checked out Country Music’s newest redhead you’re missing out! This sassy, southern gal started CountryMusicIsLove’s Benefit Show with a bang! Gwen joked about her experience growing up in a small town, in North Dakota, located many miles from the nearest McDonalds. She grew up on her family’s ranch and is about as country as they come! She shared songs that will be on her upcoming album. Gwen played a song called “V.I.P” about being a “barefoot girl walking in a high-heel world.” This song was written about not fitting in with the Hollywood scene, but not caring. She’s proud of her roots and this cute tune showcased her powerful vocals. We must admit that we hadn’t checked out her music prior to the show, but definitely have now!  This certainly won’t be the last you hear of her! She recently signed to Lofton Creek Records & her debut single, “Hard Rain,” was released to country radio last October. “Hard Rain” is available for purchase on iTunes.  You can listen to 20 of Gwen’s tracks on her official site.
