
The star-studded line up for for the “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon appears to be growing by the minute! Country acts set to participate in the event include Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow. They’ll join more than 100 volunteers to try to raise funds for Haiti. According to a recent Tennessean article Swift is more than happy to help with this event. Here’s what she had to say about being a part of this event: “I’ve never actually worked a phone bank before,” Swift said. “But I want to do everything I can to help out this horrible situation. I’m passionate about this. This one was an immediate ‘yes.’”
This epic cross-genre event will air this Friday at 7 PM Central on the following networks: CMT, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, & VH1. After the event all musical performances from the show will be available for purchase throught iTunes the following day. All proceeds from purchases of performances will benefit relief funds managed by Hope For Haiti Now charities.
