This song is so beautiful. Every parent will go through this. Once your child is old enough it leaves his home.
We as parents hope it will never come to this. You see your child when it was small, then it goes to school. After many years you celebrate her graduation.

I remember when our daughter left to join the service.
She thought she was ready to leave the home she grew up in.
I`m as her mother didn`d want to let her go.
As parents you want the best for your child, even if I was crying inside, I had to let her go with a smile on my face.

It reminds me of a part of my life that I wish I could go back and change.

I’m originally from former Yugoslavia so I never knew my family because of the civil war that disbanded and killed off most of my relatives. And although it seems like a terrible thing… this little song, this 3 minute and 46 second song makes all that disappear and remind me that everything is okay as long as I have my family and my friends and I have Carrie Marie Underwood to thank for that.

When I heard the song for the first time, it was like a awakening of some sort. The second verse “Times flying by, moving so fast. You better make it count cause u can’t get it back” I realized that I had my whole life ahead of my. What counted was HERE and now. Make the time and take the time to be the ones that matter..cause I couldnt get that time back. I spent the rest of her life doing everything I could to be the best granddaughter I could and getting memories to stay with me forever.

I would play So Small alot in her room. She couldnt talk, but the tear I would see in her eyes most of the night were enough to let me know that she knew what was going on and felt the same way I did.

Like many others, so many songs have touched my heart and made such a huge impact on my life it’s hard to choose just one. The reason I selected “Whenever You Remember” is because I remember just a year and a half ago when I graduated high school. This song had the best timing. I had such mixed feelings about graduating, and this song made me realize that it didn’t matter what happened after graduation; no one can take my high school memories from me. On one hand, they’re great memories, the friends I made, the acheivements I had, but on the other hand, my senior year, was one of the hardest years everyone in the graduating class must have had. Two of our peers’ lives were taken from us. Though I was never close with either of them, I still think about them, and the lives that they had an impact on. So many people cared for them, and it was so hard to go through those first few weeks. They know they were loved and I know that I will hold they’re memory dear to me even though I was never granted the opportunity to truly know them. I’m sure that all their friends will look back and remember all the great times they had with each other. They will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Elliot and Sam.

What more can you say about this song that the lyrics don’t already cover? This song truely will touch anyone and everyone who listens to it. I have not personally lost anyone to Breast Cancer but have known many people who have. And anytime I hear this song I get a little choked up. Kelley and Kristy are amazing and such talented artists and humble young females. When you are at a concert of theirs, not only are you a fan of theirs, but your a friend. Very powerful and moving lyrics, there’s not much more you can say.
